My Plan

  • Organization

Organize quickly, run efficient meetings, have effective committees, and encourage volunteer participation.

  • Finances

Run our party finances in an efficient and transparent way with a focus on state-wide fundraising.

  • Infrastructure

Encourage effective communication, update the website, share data, and provide training opportunities.

Organization

Meetings

  • Hold fair and efficient meetings.

  • Establish meeting dates in advance, so people can plan.

  • Bring in timers and vote counters that are not members, so members can focus on the business at hand.

Committees

  • Appoint party positions listed in the bylaws within 3 weeks of the election.

  • Establish deadlines for committee’s work, to help keep the organization moving forward.

  • Expeditiously appoint Republican Patriots to fill open committee positions.

Volunteer Positions

  • Establish a Statewide Coordinator that is responsible for keeping in touch and updating organizations across the state.

  • Establish a Statewide Parade Coordinator, so candidates and other members of our party will be able to effectively coordinate with other counties and organizations that are aligned with our party platform.

  • Establish a Down-Ballot Director who helps counties engage in and field candidates for school board, county commission, and mayoral races.

  • Establish other volunteer positions, as necessary, to help our state organization run smoothly.

Finances

Budget and Expenditures

  • Run the party finances in an effective and transparent way.

  • Include an expenditure report at each meeting and include the report in the meeting minutes.

  • Post the treasurer’s report regularly in a secure area of the website.

  • Have an option for counties to post their treasurer’s reports in a secure area of the website.

  • Prepare an annual budget. Circulate it to the members in a timely fashion. Circulate an expenditure to budget comparison.

Fundraising

  • Appoint a Fundraising Director soon after the election (this person will be responsible for helping the state party raise money for 2025).

  • Bring the yearly Pheasant Hunt back to the state party.

  • Make it easy to give money to the state party, through awareness of options to give.

  • Raise money throughout the state (I will be actively involved in the fundraising effort).

Infrastructure

Website

  • Overhaul the website and keep it updated.

  • Include an up-to-date calendar (include local events, when possible)

  • Create a protected area on the website that includes updated bylaws, meeting agendas, training, proxy forms, etc.

  • Upload documents from the convention and other party forums to the website in a timely fashion.

Data and Training

  • Work with the state data director to help disperse party data to members in a secure way. Regional Directors will be called on to help with this process.

  • Develop training that is accessible through digital platforms including Roberts Rules of Order so that members can effectively conduct meetings on every level of our party.

  • Hold RNC training on the use of our digital platforms, like Kickstart.

Communication and Resources

  • Use in-person and digital tools for communications (Signal, Slack and Zoom) and training (will vary depending on the needs).

  • Use printed and digital materials for meetings.

  • Collect helpful resources for local and statewide Republican candidates, like sign locations, and make them easily accessible to all Republican candidates.

  • Continue using email as primary means of communication.
